30 for 30: Day 2 (11/09/10)

Houndstooth and polka dots are my most favorite patterns. I spy one or the other on any piece of clothing and I'm sold almost every single time. It's an addiction. Why not put these two staples of my wardrobe together!? Afraid to mix patterns? Not I!

30 for 30: Day 2

How do you feel about mixing patterns? I know I got a few crazy looks today, but that's ok. I know it's not every single person's cup of tea. I personally love this look. I felt great all day despite my bad hair day! Any outfit that can make me forget about that is a winner in my book!

I'm not one for mixing patterns lest it be a scarf or something, but you did it wonderfully. ;)

  10. I love this pattern mixing - you did it right as far as I'm concerned. I like it for myself, but I'm not terribly bold with it. I always wish I could be more daring with it, but I chicken out at the last minute.

  11. Thank you so much, guys! I had been wanting a tie neck top for a little while before I found this pretty lady at a thrift store a few weeks ago. I'm pretty sure I did a happy dance when I picked it off the rack...

  20. I almost always mix patterns and all sorts of colour that should not be seen together and most often just go with my instincts.

This combination has to be one of the most soothing and pretty ones I have seen in a long time. The blouse is perfect and your mixing was definitely successful.
