Day 6/30: Blazerific

Did you know today is Blazer Day over at Every Body, Every Wear? True story. I was happy to pull this oldie but goodie out of my closet not only for the 30x30 but also Blazer Day! I found this velvet blazer at the thrift store last year some time in perfect condition. It literally has no low points: It's velvet (ooohh), it's lined yet still machine washable (ahhh) and it fits pretty darn good.

Notice anything different? Yep, this girl has herself a fresh new look thanks to my amazing hair stylist. The lighting in my apartment is wretched so you'll have to stay tuned for a better look at the color. But, I think going from this to this was an upgrade - wouldn't you say so?


Also, I loaded up on the bling today. And I liked it a lot.


My new favorite necklace. It's dark yet sparkly. I bought it at the Recessionista Shop after winning a gift certificate to the site from Work Your Closet. Recessionista Shop... does that sound like it was made for me or what!?
