1/30: Just Not Feeling It

Don't worry - My title isn't referring to the 30x30. I'm still on board! I haven't given up on day one! Ha ha. Here's the thing: I woke up today feeling like it was a Monday. I woke up late, didn't have much time to get ready and the day slugged by. I didn't even take my outfit photos until literally five minutes ago. Basically, nothing feels right today and everything feels out of place.

My droopy mood gave me a good idea, though: Each day I plan on writing a little diddy at the bottom of my 30x30 post that gives you an idea why I take part. This will be treated similar to a gratitude journal, but in a "why I remix" positive tone sort of way instead. You dig?

Here's today: I remix because it makes me blog outfits I normally never would have blogged. Like today. It's a nothing special, felt like being comfy sort of day that I know doesn't make the most interesting fashion blog post in the world to you... but here I am. Why do I like that? Because I love reading blog posts like that on your blogs! Why do I feel boring when I do it myself? I think it's great to see that not everyone in the fashion world dresses with crazy creativity and spunk every day. I know I certainly do not and that is so ok!

With that, I bid you all goodnight. I'm hoping, wish, praying and crossing my fingers and toes that I wake up tomorrow to find out I have a snow day from work. This will take a miracle but with the amount of snow we are supposed to get... it may just happen! :)
